Letters to Julietis a feel good romantic comedy about love lost and love found. The movie tells the story of how troubled young women seek advice from Shakespeare's Juliet by leaving letters paste to a wall, where they are answered by Juliet's self appointed "secretaries". One of the note is found 50 years later by Sophie,a young American woman who is soon to be married and who want to become a writer.
She volunteer to help Claire (owner of the letter) find her separated lover but this situation gives Sophie more than experience or chance to write a book, it gives her a chance to understand a meaning of love. I like this movie especially a songs and a locations unless that almost of character in this movie quite too romantic and cling to true love too much.

Something Borrowed is a chick lit novel by Emily Giffin. It does tell the story of Rachel and Darcy, her best friend. Darcy arranges a party for Rachel’s thirtieth birthday. Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy’s fiancé, Dex, after too many drinks. This book was placed on the New York Times Best Seller List and become a movie.
But what I got from this novel was that’s all right to sleep with your best friend’s fiancé if she’s a bit**, seriously??? The writer tries to make a character of Rachel to be a good girl and Darcy to be a selfish person as an excuse so it would not be wrong for Rachel to do these things. Rachel even thought, when she woke up in the morning with Dex, that she didn’t feel guilty about betraying her best friend, the only guilt she could muster was guilt over not feeling guilty(ohhhhhhh, what kind of friend are you?????)
I don’t know why this book was in the list of New York Times or American like this kind of character but I think every character is so unlikable that it make hard for me to like this book.
I had a chance to read the "Little House", series of the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder (translated by Sukontharod), since I was young. TheLittle Houseseries is based on memories of Laura Ingalls Wilder's childhood in the Midwestregion of the United States during the late 19th century. I have to say that I loved it very much and it had been my favorite books since then.
Lately, I was download an e-book of this series from internet because I couldn't find any books from a bookstore and that makes me have no choice but to read it in English. Actually, these books are for children so it’s not that hard to read (I think I should better use my times for my homework, not reading!).
I just want to recommend this series of books for those who want to read an English novel. I hope you like it!
I suggest the novel, that I borrow from Mouy. The Spook's Apprentic is the first story in the series "The Wardstone Chronicles" The plot of The Spook's Apprentice is centred around a 13 year old farm boy named Tom. Tom is the seventh son of a seventh son he is able to see things others cannot, such as boggarts, ghasts, ghosts and others, which is traditional in the County. The story begins after the arrival of the Spook, who will be taking Tom Ward, the narrator, as his apprentice. The Spook is a cloaked old man carrying a wooden staff in his left hand, who travels the county fighting troublesome creatures such as Boggarts, Ghosts/Ghasts, and Witches, for the people who need these things gone. I feel enjoyable when I read it. I finished this book. Mouy lend me the next episodes are the spook's curse (is the second book in the Wardstone Chronicles series) and The Spook's Secret (is the third book in the Wardstone Chronicles series) last week. A famous ghost ship that become popular from the movie the Pirates of the Carribean but many people will not know is that the flying dutch man refers to the Captain of the vessel, and not the vessel itself. Many spectral ship around the world are know as the flying dutch man but here is original embellished tale:
The Captain of vessel, Hendrick Van Der Decken was voyaging around the Cape of Good Hope with a final destination to Amsterdam, with a terrible storm around he swore around the cape, if it took him and his vessel to a doomsday and he refused to turn the ship around despite the plea of his crew. Moreover, he drank beer and smoke while sang a obscene songs. Finally, with no options remained, several of the crew mutinied. The captain arouse from his drunken and shot the lead of mutineer to dead and threw his body to the ocean. The cloud above him patted and the voice billowed from the Heaven shouted at him that he was a very stubborn man. The voice still loud and condemned him to sail in the ocean for eternity, with his ghostly crew of dead men and brought the dead to all who sight his spectral ship. Moreover, the ship will never make port and never have a moment of peace furthermore; they can only drink a gall and eat hot iron for a meal. The flying dutch man have been seen often by the reputable and experience sea men including prince George of Wales and his brother Prince Albert Victor of Wales. According to the Admiral Karl Doenitz memorandum, the Flying Dutch Man have sailed pass his ship in 1942. On the calm day the ship will be seen as a barque apparent with a horrible scream and vanished when it come closer. That apparent make the Flying Dutch Man proved to be a terrible omen to all the sailors.
One day in Hong Kong, I went to star ferry for saw the show. The show called the Symphony of lights. The show consists of color lights on buildings, lasers, spotlights, and fireworks (on specail holidays). The show all synchronized with music. A Symphony of Lights is staged every night at 8:00 p.m. This is one of the things that makes Hong Kong an outstanding city.
I think the lights in each building is beautiful.

The Pseudo Science is a statement or belief or a way which is claimed that it is a science, but, in fact, it is never been tested, proved or investigated its truth. Also, there is no any research to support it, there is no patent right but the self-claimed manufacturer always says that it is due to the commercial secret. And, it is not based on any scientific theories. So, we can conclude that Pseudo Science is not a science, but it is only a fake belief! This belief can be met in forwarded mails, webboards even though various kinds of medias. The clear example of the pseudo science from forward mail is the warning forwarded mails about the cuisine you couldn't eat together otherwise you will be dead by their poison happened from their chemical mixture. the example pseudo science from the medias are a Scalar coin, the magic coin which can boost your health, or NP Faster, the additional equipment that can reduce your car's petrol consume.These pseudo science are tested from a scientist from famous academic institutes and webboard members in Science room, and proved that they are all wrong. However, the pseudo science manufacturers always use the legat procedure to shut them, the testers, up their mouth or insist that their products are worked and brought the famous people who used to use it(?) to reinforce their support statements.
How to classify it? The way to classify that what is the pseudo science or what is the real science are :
- observe that pseudo science is always of the ambiguous description.
- always show the picture or quote of the famous people more than its quailty.
- has an over qualification or more modern process than usual.
- If you ask about the process of its work, they, the manufacturers, always avoid to answer and say that is is our commercial secret.
If you doubt, you can contact the Ministry of Science and Technology and ask them. They will give you a correct answer.

Last friday, I was assigned by my boss to bring students in Australian English Language Course in Language Institute of National Defence Studies Instiitute, Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters to Bangpa-In Palace, Ayuthaya. This assignment made me feel bashful because I have never been a tourist guide before though I used to go there. Everyday before the travel day, I went to the library in the university near my house and borrowed a mountain of books and materials about Bangpa-In palace and studied them until I had an confidence that I can remember their information.
As the travel day came, I realized that the biggest problem I had to encounter is not lacking of knowledge, but it was the strategy to handle with tourists instead. While I was informing him the history or any information about everything in the palace, they paid their attention into photo shooting. Many times, I had to stop the group and ran back from the front to asked him keep going. Some people escaped from the group and went to drink a cup of coffee at coffee shop. These problems caused us going back to Bangkok later than the plan. However, it was my valuable experience for me to improve myself later.

Last Friday I had to travel to Ranong province with people from my office. It took eight hours from BKK to Ranong, and another eight hours from Ranong back to BKK. It was the longest journey I have ever had in a long time.
This trip to Ranong was my last responsibility to do while I am working here at NBTC till the end of August. Then, I move to work at the airport. My duty I had to do in Ranong was a proctor to an examination of voluntary radio, and also a photographer plus a video camera girl. It sounded a lot to do, but I switched the duty with another friend I went with. There were 500 examinees that we had to take care of, but we could do it just fine. It was fun and I enjoyed my time working here a lot.
Ranong is a small province on the southern side of Thailand. It’s been know as having raining season for 8 months and hot season for 4 months. I think it was true as the second syllable of the word Ranong ‘nong’ means ‘deluge’, so if you wanna visit this province, please remember to always bring an umbrella.
The only place I visited while I was there was natural mineral ponds located in the city. It was very nice as I saw many local people (even at night) were there to put their feet in warm mineral ponds and be relaxed. I just hope I could stay there longer so I could have my feet dipped in the pond all day.
Sixteen hours from BKK-Ranong-BKK was tough especially when you got a back seat like me. But it was all good after all.

I used to watch the film named "Amistad" and I felt impressed this film when I saw it, I cried and felt pity because this film was very sad and dramatic story about slavery. This is the historical drama film that I would like to recommend to watch. When you viewed and watched it, you not only enjoy this story, but you also get the knowledge and learn something hidden this story. The Amistad was a real Spanish slave ship. It sailed from Havana, the capital of Cuba on 28 June 1839. There waer young africans to work as slaves but they fought and killed the sailors on the ship. Africans tried to sail the ship home to Africa but a US ship found them and took them to New Haven and they faced prison and courts. However, do you know the final decision of the courts? The courts decide them to be murders? They are right or wrong? If you want to know the answer, you have to find the film "Amistad" to watch and you feel pity them and know more the unfairness of society and country in the past and you will see this happened in our present world.
My grandmother is Chinese. She came from China since last 70 years and now she is 94 years old. Before she has been admitted in the hospital last May, she can walk by herself without using walker or wheelchair but last May, she fell down and her bone was broken so, now she can not walk by herself. However, yesterday I went to see her with my sisters and relatives. I thought that her health was better because she talked to us with smile and her face looked freshly and lively. She had a good encouragement for herself. It made us happy that she can talk and eat. I would like her to live with us for a long time and want to spent time with her more and more because we do not know what will happen in the future so, if we have time, we should do without excuse.
Kwun Yam Shrine is the second-site that I visited when I lived in Hong Kong. Kwun Yam Shrine is a Buddhist shrine located at the southeastern end of Repulse Bay, in the southern part of Hong Kong Island. The site is famous for the Longevity Bridge when you cross the bridge, it will add 3 years (or 3 days, as another source said) to your life. In addition, it is believe that if a visitor touches the statue of the money god from head to toe and then puts his hands in his pockets, then he will accumulate wealth. If a visitor can throw a coin into the open mouth of a fish statue, he will receive good fortune. I can throw a coin into the open mouth of a fish statue.^^
