The Flying Dutch Man

A famous ghost ship that become popular from the movie the Pirates of the Carribean but many people will not know is that the flying dutch man refers to the Captain of the vessel, and not the vessel itself. Many spectral ship around the world are know as the flying dutch man but here is original embellished tale:
The Captain of vessel, Hendrick Van Der Decken was voyaging around the Cape of Good Hope with a final destination to Amsterdam, with a terrible storm around he swore around the cape, if it took him and his vessel to a doomsday and he refused to turn the ship around despite the plea of his crew. Moreover, he drank beer and smoke while sang a obscene songs. Finally, with no options remained, several of the crew mutinied. The captain arouse from his drunken and shot the lead of mutineer to dead and threw his body to the ocean. The cloud above him patted and the voice billowed from the Heaven shouted at him that he was a very stubborn man. The captain replied that he was not expected for a peaceful voyage also he never asked for anything then he tried to shoot the sky where the voice came from but his pistol exploded in his hand.
The voice still loud and condemned him to sail in the ocean for eternity, with his ghostly crew of dead men and brought the dead to all who sight his spectral ship. Moreover, the ship will never make port and never have a moment of peace furthermore; they can only drink a gall and eat hot iron for a meal. The flying dutch man have been seen often by the reputable and experience sea men including prince George of Wales and his brother Prince Albert Victor of Wales. According to the Admiral Karl Doenitz memorandum, the Flying Dutch Man have sailed pass his ship in 1942. On the calm day the ship will be seen as a barque apparent with a horrible scream and vanished when it come closer. That apparent make the Flying Dutch Man proved to be a terrible omen to all the sailors.
