I have new eyes... Part III

On Sunday, I waited my doctor again because she had an appointment with me at 10 am. but she came 11 am. Oh! my god, long time again. She looked at my eyes and said. "I think it was decease than yesterday, today I will put the contact lens out." And she did that. After that she told me "Dropped medicine continues untill it lost and see you again Tomorrow or Tuesday, what do you think?" I answered quickly "Tuesday, please!" My doctor said "Ok. Around 1 pm. for check your eyes, see you." It's finish already. I wait her about 1 hour but she checked me about 5 minutes. It wasn't fair but I couldn't anything.

On Tuesday at noon, it was a heavy rain but I have to go to see my doctor. That was ok. because I went there by BTS. I arrived there around 1 pm. but my doctor wasn't come yet. The nurse said "She has an operation, she will come around 2.30 pm." Oh! I waited her again. I waited her untill I hungry. I waited her untill I went to the toilet twice times. I waited her untill I read almost magazines that in the room. I waited her untill 3.45 pm. Finally, she came. Shw checked me around 5 minutes and said "everything that ok, I will have an appointment with you on Thursday again." After she said, she sent me to the nurse. The nurse said "On Thursday, can you see the doctor at 10 am?" My eyebrows had tie a bow. The nurse said "Busy? Around 2 pm. That's ok?" "Ok." I had to request a leave of absence my work again.

At 4.30 pm. on Wednesday, the nurse phoned me. "Could you change your appointment with the doctor from 2 pm. to be 11 am.?" "Ok!" I answered quickly because I'm glad to have not to request a leave of absence and I can do OT too. (because this Thursday, it hasn't class.)

On Thursday, I arrived at the hospital at 11.05 am. I was late for 5 minutes but that was ok. Because there were many patient. I waited untill 12.00 am. , the doctor called me and watched my eyes. She said "Everything's that ok! I think you should go to see me next two week." "Ok!" I answered.I think it's for a long time that I see a doctor but it's ok because I don't go to the hospital almost everyday again!

My Position II

Instructor was the second position in my working life, it made me have enjoyable life as today. That position started at the time I worked with Thai Airways Inetrnational (TG). My responsibility concerned with the course of safety for new comer, ramp safety (Safety in the area that all of airplanes are landind and take off), first aids, dangerous goods regulation and so on. I always enjoyed to work there with ground staff who faced the risk in working area such as noise pollution, chemical hazard in ramp area and how to take care sick passenger who travel with wheel chair. I got many good knowledge and experience there together with the chance to travel around the world both on duty and on private jurney. I have been train the course of DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulation) in Switzerland by TG sponsorship. I prouded so much to be some part of TG satff at that time.

My Position I

At that time I worked with EGAT, my position was Medical Scientist. My responsibility concerned with health check such as lung function test, hearing ability test, eye test and also cencerned with environmental measurement such as dust measurement, noise measurement, lighting measurement. The last responsibility was training for all target worker who worked in the risk area. We trained our employee to gain more knowledge about the protection of their health from hazardous working condition. After I got the data from environmental measurement, I recommened the right method for improve the working area for better health of all employee but our organization cann't 100% correct it so we must motivate all employee to use some PPE (Personal Pretective Equipment). I always went to many provinces outside Bangkok for done my duty all year. I always happy when I can consult and convince many worker to change their behavior for caring themselve.

Newcomer colleague

Firstly, I would like to tell you that I am in my leave to prepare for give to my baby. Therefore, my boss would be find employee to help my working. The company have many candidate but finally, I had new colleague. She is good looking and good characteristic. She younger than me 1 year. She worked at the office for about 2 weeks. Learning about products are important in working, so she must learn about products and marketing before go out to contact with customers. Sales representative have to own car but she have not the car and don't know when she get it. At this period, I and another colleagues lead she go out to contact with customers. My difficulty is driving, walking or to do something not easy like before prenancy. I tried to tolerate done everything same in the past but my body not active due to my belly is very big. I can not lead she go out in every place, so I just talk a little bit with her only. I pray to new colleague will be enjoy with her working and still work untill I will be back to work on November.

The Seminar

I have ever tell you that I will talk about the seminar at Kao Yai and today I prompt to tell you some atmosphere at there. This seminar was provided by AIA (Duantong 8 unit). Many people not only AIA agent but other occupations were attended at this seminar. There is one activity I would like to talk about that is team management. The first day, all people were divided into 6 teams and each team was assigned to create a team cheer which include team’s slogan, team’s song. Moreover, we did we must do in team e such as eating time or doing the activity we had to do together and these were judged by committee. Everything we did it meant the score we got. As you know the more people the more stories then how we made it go on nicely. From this activity, I had learnt how to work in team, to be a leader, to be a follower and when I should play leader’s role or follower’s role. It is not only an activity but it like a situation which we may face in the real life. Could you guess that on three days since 5th to 7th how many hours I slept? The answer is 5 hours only. This is just one thing from many activities I received. From this seminar, I feel that my life is not same as before. Many things are changing especially in my mind.

Credit Card

Nowadays, I think everyone has known credit card. It’s very useful and comfortable. When we go shopping we can use it instead cash. We can buy everything we want within financial amount.

I use to have it once with financial amount 60,000 baht. Every month I bought everything I want. I bought everything through credit card to got point. I got many points to exchange things such as toaster, suitcase, steam pot, vacuum bottle, etc. In every month I have more expense to pay so I have to separate my salary to pay bill. Fortunately, when I paid bill I always pay all amount. But my friend is different from me. She usually paid in minimum. The lowest you paid the more interest you got. Right now my friend owe to credit card around 300,000 baht. It’s very terrible!!!!!!
Credit card plants me extravagant behavior. Till I have credit card I don’t have any saving money. One day I realized that credit card is like a trap so last year I had cancelled it and I felt free. I always think whether it’s necessary for me or not when I want to buy something.

Credit card is like two-edged swords that exist with both advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, we should to select only advantages and use it with consciousness.

This radio station always on air from Monday to Saturday at 6.00 pm. – 9.00 pm. FM.93.25 MHz K RADIO by Kru Anny and Kru Cat. It appropiate for people who love to learn English by beautiful songs.,Tips How to…,etc.

This station play many nice songs for example; When you say nothing at all by Ronan Keating, I will survive by Gloria Gaynor, Way back into love by Hugh Grant. Dj.Kru Anny and Kru Cat are translate the meaning from sentence to sentence ( SL to TL) and explain the vocabularies.

Besides, that is interesting tips of living such as; How to be the perfect girlfriend / boyfriend ? (From Book : New Inside Out Pre-Intermediate ), Surviving if break up or Tips of How to get move on? (From Bangkok Post)

I heard this station first time from internet. I think it has beneficial information for us because the teachers explain the vocabularies by using the situation from many dialogues. I also learn about the process of writing about how to write the essay too. I can listening this station while I’m doing my housework. Moreover I can use some ideas from English Break station in my English Club at school for instance; recording student’s voice in some situations and open after lunch time.

For this station you can listen and understand the meaning of the songs and you can learn the tips how to .. that is benefit for us. At last I remember some proverb from K-RADIO
--Practice make perfect-- That is to say ; the key to achieving is usually practice a lot.
