For me, I usually buy it from the food cart in front of Big C Ratchadapisek. In front of Big C, there are many food carts and street shops on the pathway. The food cart that sell my favorite kind of food is easy to find. It is right at the corner of the pathway where you can see the couple selling many kinds of chili paste such as mackerel chili paste, horseshoe crab chili paste, straw mushroom chili paste, etc. And there are a lot of boiled vegetable for you to choose from.
Of course, the taste is very spicy, so I have to tell them don't make it too spicy. Anyway, it still too spicy for me but they said that it must be spicy or it isn't delicious. What they said is true, if it is not spicy, how can you call it chili paste. So I eat it with boiled vegetable and it is the perfect match. Usually I eat it with morning glory, Ivy Gourd, Hemp Sesbania Flower, cowslip, etc.
