Traffic on Charan Sanitwong Road is very very bad today. Since March 2010, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has started the project of construction the tunnel under the Boromratchachonnanee Junction. It is almost a mega project and it is due to be completed in 2012. So the roads around that junction are narrowed. The workers have to dig under the road. Somedays they dug the left and the right lanes so we can drive only on the middle lanes, when they finished, they dug under the middle lanes and the drivers had to move according to their work. If it rains or in the dark, it is quite dangerous to drive through this way. Fortunately, my house is near my office on the other road so I don't get into this trouble on weekday, but at weekend I have to go to another house on that road. Just two days being in that traffic made me so boring.
Not only this tunnel project on Charan Sanitwong road that made traffic jams but also another project, the Blue Line BTS. It started not so far from Sang Hee Junction to Yan Hee Hospital, quite a long way. The project has just started in June 2011 and will be completed in 2015. How do you think about the traffic on this road next four years. So I'd like to inform you that if you have to go anywhere passing Charan Sanitwong road, please choose some other route instead.
