Pixie hair is becoming more and more popular as more celebrities get their hair cut into this boyish-yet-still-feminine-style.
To get the pixie cut right, make sure your stylist cuts in lots of layers. Keep the hair on the nape of the neck super short, so that when your hair at the crown grows out, it will resemble a bob.
For long, side-swept bangs with the pixie and suggests you ask your stylist to "slice-cut" them in to create separation.
Not everyone can get away with a pixie. This look works best on petite women with wavy or straight hair. The cut can make a long face look even more oblong but almost all pixie hairstyles look great on oval, square and heart-shaped faces. If you have a round face shape, opt for a pixie with body at the top which will add lift to the top of the head, elongating your round face.
