Saturday Working!

Today is Saturday but my working day. According to my company regulation, the last Saturday of every month is a working day. We normally take an annual leave but for this month, the monthly report meeting will be held on next Tuesday which I must present my face to my boss to show that I’m paying attention to the monthly report. How fake I am!....coz I’m doing homework behind the monthly report sheet!

Here is the 3rd company I’ve joined. My last 2 company has Saturday working 2 or 3 times a month but I never feel lazy to go working. Maybe, here is open for employee to take a leave easily so it is became my habit that I don’t want to work on Saturday and I also want to go back to see my baby which make me more and more lazy at work.

I tried to observe another colleagues then I found that their work performance also going down, they chat and relax sometimes, not so busy as another working day.

But someone still works hard!....and call me to her desk for consultation about the great activity that we are going to arrange on September. She is an assistance manager who my biggest boss has transferred from another department to help me on my project. She is so alert and reforms my project a lot. At first, I felt very unpleasant that it seemed she came to take my place and I must share the job performance with her but now I found it is OK…she has more experience than me, she can give me some advise and I can learn many thing from her which in the past, I had to learn right or wrong alone and decide everything by myself.

2 heads is better than 1 head…Now I agree with this statement!

Do the dream

When we talk about dreaming, we always think that is about the future. Most people can not achieve their dream because they think like that. I used to be one of those. Since I found that’s not true, I’ve been doing my best in each day without dreaming for anything. Later, I realized that we can dream in the present. It’s just like dreaming for what you expect to be in everyday. When you expect something, it means that you hope something to be happened. When you hope for something, it means you are dreaming for what you hope to come true.
For me, the biggest dream is to be happy in everyday. It looked simple to achieve but actually, it’s very hard to be happy in everyday. Each day, we will get a different problem such as some mistakes in our work, boring in the traffic, or even some arguments with your friends. Some people dream to have their own house, car, land, company, wife, kid and so on. For me, I just dream for being happy in every single day because being happy means we have everything already.
However, our dream will never come true if we are dreaming without doing. Dreaming is very easy. We can dream everything even dreaming for something that impossible. The important key is doing. We usually start with dreaming. Then, we try doing anything which can make that dream come true. For example, I dream to be happy in everyday. So, I have to change my attitude first by satisfying to what I am and what I get. Then, I try to be optimistic so that I can get rid of the negative things that make me feel unhappy. Today, I think I am not too far to reach this dream. It almost comes true. Therefore, I will never stop doing this dream no matter how hard it will actually be. From: Watchara Yenprem

I have new eyes... Part II

I had an appointment with my oculist on last Friday because after I had Lasik my eyes. This day was Follow up day. I and my mom went to the hospital at 9 am. My eyes were still bleary and my doctor called me and took my eyes for pictures. She shown my eyes to the moniter and said "There is something in your cornea. Today, I will give you some eyedrop and medicines to take and tomorrow if something in your cornea doesn't disappear, I will wash them." After she said, she took the other doctor to look my eyes at the moniter and said "We should wash her (my) cornea, tomorrow." Oh! No! I have a big problem. I have to teach the children at Baptist Student Center. Oh! How should I do? My doctor said to me "Ok, tomorrow you will see me at 10 am." I only answered "Yes." Oh! I will up to chopping block again, tomorrow.

On Satursay, I had 3 classes to teach. I had to cancle 2 classes and I almost missed 1 class at 3 pm. I came late because in the morning at 10, I saw everything was very clearly but my doctor said "Something in my cornea didn't decrease, I would to wash them at noon." At noon I waited again because there was a girl that had an operation before me. (She was a sister of the other doctor.) Around 1.30 pm. It was turn to me, a nurse dropped an anesthetic to me and took me to the operating table. The doctor and the nurses blocked my eyes again. They opened my cornea to wash and clean. After that the doctor put contact lens to my eyes. It was finished about 2.30 pm. My doctor said "Tomorrow, we have an appointment again for put the contact lens out around 10 am." Oh! I have to absent to teach, at Wat Arun, again! This week, I lost my money 700 Baht, Oh my God! "That's ok, I will come to see you tomorrow." I answered her.

During back home

After finished class in Wednesday, I drove my car went back home. I had to pass The Kae-lai section. While I was stricken traffic jam at this section, I notice a man standing near there, his arm holding a mirror cleaning mop. His job is a windshield cleaner. I didn’t like man who work this job at sections because their mops are dirty so he can not wipe windshields clean (may be dirtier). This man came to my car; I shook my head to tell him I didn’t want his service, but he didn’t care me and started clean my windshield. I was angry why did he not go to the next car to find someone want him. I couldn’t do anything unless turned my face away. After cleaned my windshield finished, he walked and stopped at my door beside me. He didn’t walk anywhere so I must to give 5 baht to him, with my face not satisfied; he thanks me and walked to the car. I resented for his act forced me to give some money to him. No long I could pass the section; I was calm down. I realized man doesn’t want whoever criticizes him. I thought about a windshield cleaner. May be he had some reason that I don’t know why he do this job to get some money. His job, actually, is virtuous: it is better than he is a thief or a beggar. Sometime we don’t have many choices to select; but he selected to do something to change some money: not steal, not beg. I thought he was a good man. Next time, I will glad to give 5 baht for windshield cleaning.

Man not consists of what he has but what he is.

At present, Silpakorn University returned the palace to Bureau of the Royal Household following the wishes of HRH Princess Bejraratana Rajasuda. It has some interesting buildings in a mixture of Thai and European styles.

There were lots of people and many beautiful places so I could take many photos with my younger sister. These scenery are magnificent and look like a fairy tale story. We looked around for took photos with the Rayal Building such as Samakkeemukamartaya Hall, Ganesa Shrine, Chaleemongkolasana Residence, Mareerajaratanabulung Residence, Thub Kwan Residence and Statue of Yalae (the king's dog). In the afternoon 12.30 p.m. my sister came to the Hall. She received the certificate from Somdej Prathep Ratna Raj Suda Siam Boroom Raj Kumari at 4.00 a.m.

I’m very proud with her so I sent her my congratulations by gave her a nice bouquet of flowers and two big bear dolls. I think next year I will have a wonderful moment as well.

This is a wonderful place with a wonderful time.
Hope you can visit this palace since it's not far from Bangkok.
