Bedtime Stories for Grown-Ups
Again and again, I would like to recommend the new book, Bedtime Stories for Grown-Ups: Fairy-Tale Psychology written by Sue Gallehugh Ph.D., Allen Gallehugh M.B.A and translated by Wilawan.
Many famous fairy-tales for children are adapted for adults such as the three little pigs, snow white and the seven dwarfs, sleeping beauty, and the emperor's new clothes. The purpose of this book is to help the readers improve themselves by using the idea from each fairy-tale.
For example, Wake up and Smell the Coffee: Sleeping Beauty is about the purposes in life. Sleeping princess should learn her mistakes and failure as the valuable lessons, which will lead her to future success.
In the end of each fairy-tale, the caution will be added in the end of each fairy-tale. The writer wants the readers to remember and practice as the cautions.
It's time to go bed so I myself have to read bedtime stories. May this night I can find my purposes of life as Sleeping Princess did.
Good Night!!!!
My study time
I am a normal section student. I am studying in Bangkok at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok for a MTEB in translation. I come to study here because I want to study in the morning, afternoon, or bureaucracy time. I don’t want to disturb the time of my family. Some weeks my relatives take my granddad stay in my home. Either my dad or my mom must go to the opening of alley to take me go home. In my opinion, if the department isn’t ready to open for teaching and studying, it shouldn’t to open. I understand there are only 2 students in my section. Why don’t you solve the problem by take us study with the students in the next term? I think your method to solve the problem isn’t correct method. It makes me feel the department is selfish. Not only me have the problem to study in the night, but my close friend has the problem too. Her dormitory is far from here, she tells me traveling in the night is very tired. One day, I meet a student who studies before me one term. She told me that the last term there is no the day which study in the daytime. If next term there is a teacher in the Faculty of Arts. My friend and I will try to ask him/her to study in the daytime. But he/she doesn’t allow, I must probably forget it.

Little girls
Once I taught English to students who aged 5 years old. They are 3 pretty little girls who could remember all the things I taught. Their names are Pat, Pim, and Namtan. They were friends from the same school and we met each other every Saturday. Fortunately, they were good students who weren’t stubborn and lazy. I tried to teach them reading easy sentence, spelling words, and writing what I told. It’s important that everyone must pronounce correctly. Of course, they could pronounce in correct way even it took longer time. They asked immediately whenever they didn’t understand. Many times I allowed them to draw picture as they liked because I didn’t want them to be too serious on lessons. I felt so happy when I saw them draw pictures with their imagination and creativity. One picture that I can remember is about family including father, mother, the one who drew, and a dog. In that picture, they went to a park; smiles on their face with colorful flowers and lots of trees. They all looked very happy. She told me that she drew it from her experience. We also played games together such as matching words with picture, doing crossword, and making hints. At present I have no chance to meet them because I don’t know where they moved to. I still miss them, my little girls.
