How to save life?

Last week, Assoc.Prof. Phanich,Ph.D.[I'm not sure;I will apologize in thid place if this wrong.]said, "Stroke" in class. It's fact which we're realize bad effect of itself. Once I receiced an e-mail which concern with a symptom. I will inform detail for a spreading of knowledge. At least. you will save some life in the future, if you're remember all simple things.

First, you're recognizing a Stroke. An indicator of Stroke and including Blood Clots; it have three letters: "S.T.R.". A doctor say, we can observe a stroke by asking three simple questions:
*S* Ask the individual to "Smile".
*T* Ask the person to "Talk" in a simple sentence
(i.e.Is a nice weather,today?).
*R* Ask him or her to "Rise both arms".
If they have trouble with one of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms. In the beginning, I was wondered by this e-mail. Because "S.T.R."was written and pronounced the letters like "STR" which a vocabulary in the line of hotel that mean; a standard type room. At that time,I feel jokingly in the same word. If I'm face to an accident,I'll call an emergency number because it's the best way for me.

The symptoms of a stroke are difficult to know. Unfortunately, the lack of knowledge spells disaster. A patient's brain is damaged critically even; familier can't know a symptom of stroke. Additional, a new sign of a stroke is this: ask them to "Stick" out a tongue. In case; the tongue is "crooked" and goes to one side or the other, that is also indication of stroke.
!!Remember, three letters "S.T.R.".

A BUSY WEEK

I have held a successful Chinese competition at last week. What made me feel satisfied is that I saw most of the Thai students are interested in Chinese study and the teachers from other provinces all accepted that the competition we hold was such excellent. In nowadays, there are more and more Thai students choose to study Chinese but the killer for the Thai students are Chinese characters which seems very difficult in their eyes. So keep the Thai students’ interest in Chinese study is very important that is also the reason for holding such a Chinese competition. The Thai students can learn a lot through the competition and realize what they should practice more in their further study, such as, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. We also supplied an opportunity for the students who are good at singing and dancing which improved the Chinese learners’ interest.

One step forward

Have you ever give up when you get stuck with something? or even when you want to do something new out of your simple way. It's hard when we have to try on something new or something difficult. In fact, everyone has that moment come into our lives. We are afraid to do the new things and think we can't do it. For myself, I've got one when I started to worked at my first workplace. I got many complain and yelling when I attended to production meeting in first three months and I was cried. My leader, who I do respect her like my sister, told me that I have to take a step forward to protect myself. She said I had to be confident, and be ready for every obstacle which will get into my life and you will win with every situation. So I did and that make me have more self-confidence, my job got better. Just simple statement to remember "Have a little faith in yourself" and take "A step forward" then you will see nothing is hard for you anymore. When something end, something else begin.

Gecko’s Superpower

Are you a fan of superhero movies? You may have noticed that many of the heroes’ superpowers are based on an animal’s abilities, such as Spider-Man’s super-sticky wed. Have you ever wondered how a gecko can defy gravity and stay on walls without falling down? A gecko’s feet contain thousands of nanostructure fiber strands called “setae” that form a tight contact to walls and ceilings. Therefore, a gecko can walk on any surface as if its feet are attached to invisible suction cups. Furthermore, setae can provide an incredibly strong adhesive power. It is estimated that a gecko can stay on a wall and hold as much as a 130 kg mass or roughly 20,000 times its body weight. With this knowledge, scientist in the U.S. have created a biodegradable, setae like nanostructure bandage that could be used to replace suturing, especially on the slippery surfaces of internal organs. Replacing sutures with bandages will allow for a minimally invasive surgery that could potentially save lives. Therefore, the gecko’s sticky feet can be viewed as a superpower in the world of medicine. Maybe you are not seeing a movie a new superhero about Gecko Man but you should get it of super-sticking power in coming soon.

Oh Dear

Last Saturday, I chatted with my friend on facebook. I asked him about his job going. He said he had to get ready to go out of town in late morning. I said, "Where were you going?" VA? He replied, "Right, I had two shoots down there." "Did you have bf yet?" I asked. He waited and said, "Did you mean best friend?" Oops! I realised that we do not have or even use the initial for breakfast. Normally, Thai uses bf for boyfriend when they do chat online. So, I said, "Sorry, I meant breakfast." Hopefully, he will not be angry me.

I am a big fan of Serena.

In Wimbledon2010, The fourth round clash between the defending champion, Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova is one that is eagerly anticipated by both women.
Both of them have a competition again. It is very interesting match. I am a big fan of Serena so I hope she will win Maria and get a champion. Serena won this granslam for 6 times. She is very great player.

NicVAX, the new vaccine for stop smoking

Nicotine in cigarette is important chemical to make smoker addict, researcher of Michigan University, Dr. Jonathan Henry, invents vaccine for reducing efficiency of nicotine, this process can help people stop smoking. After injecting NicVAX into body, antibody will be motivated to resist nicotine that will flow to brain because nicotine causes comfortable feeling. If they don’t get the good feeling from smoking again, they don’t want to smoke it automatically.
This vaccine will stay in blood for long months, so it can protect you from returning smoke; however this vaccine is in testing process and should be completely in 2013.

Do you know Robert Pattinson?
He is English actor who was very smart and handsome.
His full name is Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson. He was born 13 may 1986 in London.
His mother, Clare, worked for modeling agency and his father, Richard, imported vintage car from America. He have two elder sisters Lizzy and Victoria.
Pattinson began to modeling when he was twelve years old. He is best-known for playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight Film and Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire. He plays guitar and piano, and compose his own music. He also appears as the singer of two songs on The Twilight soundtrack "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign" .
Pattinson was named one of the "Sexiest men alive" in 2008 and 2009 by People Magazine, but I don't think so he not only sexy but also he good at in everything that he take.

Fear

I believe what human beings hate most is fear which has lived with us since we were born in the world. In fact, fear itself is not dangerous but result of it having an effect on humans is unexpectedly much more dangerous. Fear makes an scary illusion in human's mind and humans try to find a way to avoid it because they are afraid that it would happen to themselves. Someone cannot sleep in some nights since they try to solve problem they fear. Somebody chooses to stay away from what they fear and someone chooses to fight it in the wrong or foolish way; for example, attacking or defaming anything or anyone they fear. Those choices can easily make a big trouble to what they fear because sometime, their fear is just fear, imagination which may not happen at all but it destroyed something or created a new rival for the ones who fear. Consequently, it's very ridiculous that humans fight nothing except their delusion.
