"Response to Kojchanipa on the Story of Hachiko"

Hi, Wan! I would like to tell you I was really impressed when I read your text “The Story of Hachiko” two last week, including having an opportunity to see the movie “Hachi…Dog’s story” to show up on Channel 7 last Friday on Asalha Bucha Day.

As we know, many people like to keep pets at home because of their prettiness and usefulness. Some pets can be useful to the owners. Even though there are many types of pets, the most common pets are dogs and cats and these two types of pets are useful because dogs help us drive away burglars while cats scare away rats are dirty and can be disease carriers. Obviously, pets can be good companions for human beings as well. As we know, most dogs are friendly. Once they know that we are not a threat to them, they will come close to us lick our feet or hands and wag their tail as a friendly gesture. I think Hachiko is a dog that absolutely possesses these qualities.

I agree with you on your words “an animal’s loyalty is more than what a human can give each other”. In my view, Hachiko is not only being a clever dog but also being a friend in need for her owner. She is a loyal companion that is praiseworthy.

Similarly, I myself keep cat as a pet and its name is “Meree”. If I have an opportunity to keep dog as a pet, I desire the dog like “Hachiko”.

Thank you for sharing ja!!!

Dong Yi

I had an opportunity to see a historical drama “Dong Yi” to show up on TV, Channel 3 last Sunday. Although I had an opportunity to see it only one time, I was impressed and would like to see its next episode because of its interesting theme. It also influenced me must try to find its summary story on Internet for advanced reading later.

Today, I will tell you all about it. “Dong Yi” is the story of a young girl who was born in Seoul Min, the lowest strata of society. When her father and her brother were executed with injustice, Dong Yi became to be an orphan. She had to sneak the arrest of an officer into hiding in the office that handled about dances and musical instruments which used for playing in the palace, and she also got assistance from prostitutes at the same time. Her intelligence and friendliness made her had an opportunity to work in the palace and met King Sukjong by chance. Her great ability about solving problems that nobody was able to do, made King Sukjong impressed her and changed her status from a servant became to be a king’s concubine, and gave the new name to her “Choi Sook-Bin” later. Then she gave birth to a baby, Prince Yon Ying Kun; this made King Sukjong favor her more. For this reason, she became to be an enemy of Jang Hee-Bin, a king’s concubine, and continually found the bad state and embarrassment from people who were in the palace. She was patient and kept everything in her mind so that she herself and her child could survive among evil political powers. She absolutely tried to make duties of a mother both taking care of her child with love and well admonishing him. Her child could eventually reach the status of the 21th king, and got the new name “Young Jo” later.

I think this drama can help the person who is dispirited become to be the person who is spirited. If people have effort, people can find success. Like Dong Yi who was born in the lowest strata of society and worked in the status of a servant in the palace, but she became to be a king’s concubine with her intelligence for solving problems. Her effort and endurance to obstacles enabled her live among evil circumstance in the palace through to the end, and made her child reach the status of the great king as well. This can show her great effort can lead her life to the great success.

This historical drama made me feel so impressed like “Dae Jang Geum”, a historical drama that has created impression to me for 7 years. I believe you will certainly be impressed if you have an opportunity to see it like me.

I intend to find opportunities to see it again!!!.

Response to " Bad traffic on Charansanitwong Road"

When I see your post with photo about road work I feel bored about traffic in Bangkok. I was lived in Bangkok for 11 years before moving to Chonburi and I had to use public metro to work almost everyday. And to have to travel along the road like this I guess it can drive one mind going crazy. I wish our new PM can improve our country, not necessary for other big project but only a simple thing like a road. Thanks for sharing.

Who do you want to eat?

Who do you want to eat?

“Stoyn” The Russian advertising company have created a range of popsicles that aim to pair a flavor and personality within a playful tongue context. When I see the head of Donald Duck I think about my favorite cartoon when I was young, the famous actress Marilyn Monroe who die young and pity, or the star wars baddie guy “Lord Darth Vadar” I want to buy those for my kid really. The Stoyn use natural ingredients bunged into custom made molds that try to capture a details likeness of the icon.

It can make a sense of cheekiness when you carry those in your hand no matter which icon testes better or who you are eating. It is a cool choice for your next ice cream. Who do you want to eat?

How to Do The Basic At-Home Facial

Today I have some tips to maintain your healthy skin. You just try this basic at-home facial once a week by yourself, you can save your money more than getting a professional facial at some spa or beauty shop. This basic facial works on oily, dry and combination skin.

What You Need

·         Gentle cleanser
·         Exfoliating scrub
·         Warm water & a washcloth
·         Clay-based or cream facial mask (based on skin type)
·         Basic moisturizer

Time Required: 25-30 minutes

Here's How:

1.      Cleanse the skin
You’ll want to wash the face, neck and ears with a good facial cleanser to remove any grime or dirt. I recommend some great options in my list of thebest cleansers.
Don't forget to remove makeup with a makeup remover. My hands-down favorite is Clinique, but Neutrogena's eye makeup remover is a great drugstore option.

2.      Exfoliate
Using your fingers, rub a gentle exfoliating facial scrub in a circular motion on your face. Concentrate on the areas around your nose and forehead or if you have combo skin, work harder on the areas that tend to be "greasy." Rinse your face well since exfoliating scrubs tend to be drying.
See my list of the best scrubs or make your own using white sugar mixed in with extra virgin coconut oil.

3.      Steam
There are several ways to steam your face. You can fill your sink with warm water, dip a washcloth in and press to your face repeating 2-3 times or you can take it further by boiling water over the stove, then turning off the stove and putting your head over the water with a towel over your head, letting the steam seep into pores for a good 5 minutes. My favorite steam trick is to actually use my clothing steamer. I turn it on, put a towel over my head and put my face a good foot above the steamer. Works like a charm. But be careful: Do not burn yourself.
4.      The mask
For oily skin, use a clay-based face mask. For dry skin, go for a hydrating gel or cream mask.
Apply the mask, avoiding the areas around the eyes. Keep it on for 10-20 minutes (or, according to the directions on the product). Rinse completely. You can even make your own face mask.
Get recipes for every skin type in 23 Homemade Face Mask Recipes.

5.      Moisturize
Smooth on a soothing, basic moisturizer over your face and neck. See my list of the best facial moisturizers.
Tip: Stay away from strong moisturizers containing retinols or acids. These will over-exfoliate your skin.
Try to do it and please tell me the change of your face ^^

Thank you for information ...

Things you have to beware while wear contact lens!!!

Eyes are important part of your body.  It’s not fun in blind world…….

I have 5 tips to protect your eyes while you have to make up and wear contact lens

1. Wear contact lens before make up and always remove contact lens before remove your make up because make up remover may be left in your contact lens and let you have eyes irritation.

2. Use the irritate protection make up to refrain any irritation.

3. Avoid water proof mascara because it may mess up to your lens and left over a permanent stain that can made you eyes irritate

4. Avoid powder eye shadow by change to use gel eye shadow that have less risk of irritation to your eyes.

5. Do not spray any products after you wear contact lens because Aerosol from spray can made your eye irritate easily.

I hope that my tips are good to all of you guys ^^

Chang Phuak Restaurant

On the passing vacation, Saturday, I had lunch with my family at Chang Phuak restaurant at Amphawa district, Samut Songkhram province. I visited my family in Ratchaburi province and we went there for seafood lunch. The most popular dish that is recommended of this restaurant is "Boiled chicken in fish sauce", so we ordered that dish as well. What you saw in front of you was the boiled chicken that served without chopping but a small knife for the customers to chop it themselves. We asked the waiter to make the chicken chopped, but he said "NO!, Our restaurant serves this style", and he acted as if he would take the dish back. Unfortunately, we didn't let him take it back because it is a very sticky, plain and too expensive, it costs 350 baht. The worst thing is there are no service minds here in the restaurant. Besides chicken, we ordered grilled river prawns which the waiter told us the cost of 850 baht/kilogram, we ordered two but they charged us for 1800 baht but we didn't ask about this. Another wondering cost of the mixed fried vegetable dish (300 baht), now we asked the cook about this, she said, "Oh! sorry, it is 70 baht, I thought it is seafood Tom Yam".

After we had lunch there, I've seen in the website that "Chang Phuak is the restaurnat that should not be visited." How do you think about this restaurant? For me, it is not so delecious as I've heard, bad service, too expensive for a country restaurant, and dishonest. I won't go there any more and I don't want you to go neither. It's not worth driving so far to that restaurant for even a meal.

Rama Hospital

On Saturday (July 9, 2011) I went to see the doctor at Rama Hospital as usual on the appointment. Normally, I park my car at the parking lot of the hospital and see the doctor at the building around here. Now there is a new building in Rama Hospital named HRH Princess Siridhorn Building which is on the same road (Rama VI road), but not in the same area. There is an institution between the old and new building of Rama Hospital. The doctors, nurses and other workers have moved to work there, including my doctor. So the hospital has to provide the transportation service to take patients from the old building to the new one by the electric cars on the sky walk over the Rama VI road.

I've read the announcement about the details of the sky walk construction on the advertising board like who is the contractor, the specification of the sky walk, the duration of the construction, etc. but the most interesting item to me is the cost of the construction, it is 95,000,000.- baht, quite much! The construction will be comnpleted on July 30, 2011. For me the sky walk and the electric cars are very excellent, the idea of taking patients between two buildings avoiding the traffic on Rama VI road, besides they set the queueing system that patients do not have to wait too long.

Those are the first of two modern facilities of Rama Hospital I've met. When I reached the new building, it made me wonder that here is a hospital or a department store? There are many facilities, such as banks, restaurants, coffee shops, convenient stores and many shops those are under constructions. Because the building is new so everything there looked modern and clean, especially the toilet. One thing I think that should be be improved is the waiting time that the patients have to wait to see the doctor, even they have appointments.

Anyway, this modernaization will make people who go to the hsopital not only patients but also others feel not so bored though they have to wait for a long time to see the doctor because they can do many things during the waiting time. Moreover, I think that doctors, nurses, and all workers in charge in that new building are happy to work there with all the modernization.

A story of a glass

A lecturer was giving a lecture to his student on stress management. He raised a glass of water and asked the audience, “ How heavy do you think this glass of water is?” The students' answers ranged from 20g to 500gm. "It does not matter on the absolute weight. It depends on how long you hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it is OK. If I hold it for an hour, I will have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you will have to call an ambulance. "It is the exact same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." "If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, we will not be able to carry on, the burden becoming increasingly heavier. "What you have to do is to put the glass down, rest for a while before holding it up again. We have to put down the burden periodically, so that we can be refreshed and are able to carry on. So before you return home from work tonight, put the burden of work down. Don't carry it back home. You can pick it up tomorrow. Whatever burdens you are having now on your shoulders, let it down for a moment if you can. Pick it up again later when you have rested...Rest and relax. Life is short, enjoy it!!!

This story told me to free oneself from job which made me serious.  Sometime, I didn’t know that what I was doing and for whom ? But I must do it continually till I couldn’t. After I read a story of glass, I know that everything can bend leisurely that depend on a work’s condition and my power such as my boss assigns a work and must send it tomorrow but I have a lot of work for send today, I will deny and give my reason to her, it’s better than to receive a work but I can’t do it or may be send it late and I think that the other maybe can do that work. I think that I will do it work, I have to relax and don’t hold it for a long time so I have to put it down and rest for a while before holding it up again.
