Water: A Health Secret
People who want to lose weight often concentrate on what they eat. Little do they know that what they drink may be equally important.
According to health expert, people need to drink about two liters of water a day to keep their bodies properly hydrated. A general rule of thumb is to drink eight to ten glasses of water a day, depending on your body size.
Studies have shown that drinking water is beneficial to the body's immune system. It is also good for your skin.
In addition, if you drink plenty of water, you will probably feel less hungry, since hunger pains are often triggered by dehydration. Drinking water also helps the body metabolize fat.
So, be sure to drink enough water every day. This will not only make you feel better, but it may also help you lose weight. The only downside may be more trips to the bathroom!
