Let’s get to know about ‘CSR’

I have just read an epilogue of BrandAge Essential and found it interesting for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is one of marketing strategies implemented by many big firms. CSR is defined as a fair trade—marketing activities of corporate for a society—consistently developed as a key marketing strategy. The magazine is worth buying for those who are interested in marketing or CSR because it provides many essential concepts of CSR strategy development, especially the concepts of Howard Bowen who known as the Father of CSR, in order to pave the way for beginners with CSR’s evolution and analysis on its trends in the future. Certainly, the CSR is not only funding donation in the past but also sustainable development for the society or consumer. Taking this strategy emphasizes on ‘Stakeholder Engagement’. Furthermore, there are several case studies on the CSR marketing strategy employed by multination corporations and domestic corporations in this issue of the magazine. This turns out to be the success of taking the CSR strategy whom the CSR’s road map adopted into its step-by-step process. Plus, it gives me prospective on the stakeholder related to state and private segments reflecting on the pros and cons of all segments’ needs regarding implementing the CSR strategy. For those who not is keen at the marketing, I give you some trick; to try on watching some TV programs related the marketing or reading such marketing magazines like BrandAge or Positioning. These will help you understand about the marketing and apply it in your real life.
