What is economy-class syndrome?

Last week, I read "On Fly Stories' in the trainer magazine. This magazine is in the aviation industry. I think it is interseting informations for travelers and you should know about its. If long distance trips are part of your life that it help you to far away from economy-class syndrome. The economy-class syndrome is commonly found in passengers who have 3 hours. Travelling  time the symptom, during the trip and the others trip after the trip. The symptom is actually not new, as it's the symptom of Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT), which could also occur to those who travel by car or boats, or even those who sits for a long time in front of computer screens.
Generally, DVT causes swelling to knees and calves.Sitting on the plane for a while, it becomes difficult to put your feet back in the shoes because of lacking the movement. DVT mostly starts at the veins in calve muscles. The coagulation will spread to the upper viens and the hardened part may block blood flow to organs like lungs, heart, brain, etc which could lead to loss of life.
