My Last Summer Time
My last summer time, I did three things for 3 days in Suphanburi.
First day, I went to my grandmother’s house. I met relatives there. We sat together and ate delicious ethnic food. Tom Klong Pla Salid was the ethnic food that I like so much—it was so spicy and tasty. Before I left, I gave a fruit basket to my grandmother and kissed her cheeks. She gave me her blessing. This made me very happy.
Second day, I went sigh-seeing at the gorgeous temples, such as Palelai Temple, Pairongwua Temple and Paloy Temple. The architecture of the temples was simple but sophisticated. I just loved the simple style, attracted by all those curvatures and all the little bit of details. The area and atmosphere in the temples were very nice as well. And I paid respect to the Lord Buddha images and made wishes for my family and myself. Before I left, I never missed shopping at fair markets around the temples—there were many goods which contained good quality and cheap prices. I kept continue on shopping at souvenir shops near the temples, I bought what I loved.
Third day, I went to the most famous old market in Suphanburi, Samchuk Market. There were plenty of interesting things, especially appetizing food. It was popular for a variety of delectable dishes and desserts for me, such as Khao hor bai bua (steamed jasmine rice wrapped in lotus leaf), Khao lam ma praw aon (glutinous rice in coconut), and Mee krob (crisp fried noodles). Importantly, I also found an impressed picture--the picture of old coffee shop. The shop served traditional coffee, tea and cocoa. Sitting on a wooden chair, it was enjoyable to sip a cup of iced coffee or tea served on an old marble table. Before I left, I went to a restaurant near the Tajeen River. I felt relaxed because I touched the beautiful atmosphere in the evening time. In addition, I like the food there, especially Tom Yum Pla Ma; it tasted good, and the price was reasonable.
I had a good impression on going to Suphanburi and intended to go there again!!!

I have ever been there for one-day trip with my family. I had a lot of fun and enjoy eating. As you said, there are many interesting things—traditional dessert, classic toy, and mesuem—in Samchuk market. I think it is worth for visiting because it can reflect Thai traditional lifestyle and culture which is memorable. Certainly, Samchuk market is located in your hometown—Suphanburi province; thus I proudly present Koh Kret, a well-known market in my hometown—Nonthaburi province. To be honest, I have never been there. But I can be a well-prepared guide for you to Koh Kret if you would like to go there.
