Confucius

Confucius (Chinese name is Kong zi) was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher. His philosophy emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity. These values gained prominence in China over other doctrines, such as Legalism or Taoism during the Han Dynasty (206 BCE – 220 CE). Confucius' thoughts have been developed into a system of philosophy known as Confucianism. Yesterday a seminar was hold in my school on the topic of “Kong zi” with 80 Chinese teachers’ attendance. To be the lecture I prepared the movie of Kongzi and lots of materials for the Chinese teachers with the purpose of making the Thai students get to know Confucius’s thought and philosophy, such as showing gratitude to parents, showing respect to the elder people and everyone in the society and etc. actually, not only the students can study from Confucius but also all of us. If anyone want to get to know more about Confucius, the following website is available. http://www.confucius.org/maine.htm
