A book I read recently

    Kosuke Kindaichi is a famous fictional Japanese detective. They are written by by Seishi Yokomizo.The publisher already translated 22 books in thai from all of 77 books.

    Although most of people know Kindaichi from manga “The Kindaichi Case Files”, Hajime Kindaichi, the main character of Kindaichi Case Files is depicted as the grandson of Kosuke Kindaichi without permission but nowadays Kosuke Kindaichi  is quite famous in Thailand too.

   I didn’t read all of it yet, just only 10 books in this series but I want to review this series from my opinion. I hope that after read this blog maybe you guys would like  to read it too.

And my favorite case is “Three Heads Tower”

Most of the story proceed with Kosuke Kindaichi, a famous detective who always wear his wrinkle kimono, worn out wooden sandals and scratches his bushy hair. All of his character didn’t make a good first impression but after know him longer everybody always believe in him. But in this book the main character were Otono, a beautiful young woman who going to be a millionaire by heritage but have to marry in condition and Shunsaku, a wicked man who seduce Otono into an enormity.

            I like this book more than the other because it’s not just a normal mystery fiction but also romantic, well I think I have a definition of “romantic” different from the other because in the story they hardly show their feeling of love. Otono clearly know that Shunsaku expect in her money but in the end when they were in danger and going to die people always show how they truly feel, and that is romantic for me. ^___^

Thank You M’am

Recently, I have just read a short story. I like it so much and I would like to tell you about it.

“Thank You M’am” is the short story about a boy, his name is Roger who tries to steal an old lady’s purse, her name is Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones. When he tries to steal her purse, she grabs him and then yells at him. She takes him home and feeds him. She teaches some valuable lessons about setting on the right path and gives him some money for the blue suede shoes he wanted before she lets him go.

I think the story can demonstrate the important moral that “society always gives a chance to a person who used to make a mistake and change own’s mind to good way.” The value of humanness depends on good conduct and the person who can get trust from people to be an example of valuable humanness. At a part of the story, Mrs. Jones gets up and goes behind the screen. She does not watch Roger to see if he is going to run. Nor does she watch her purse which she leaves behind her on the daybed. But he takes care to sit on the far side of the room, away from the purse. When the door is opened, he can make a dash for it down the hall and he can run but he does not go. These are the things Roger does to show Mrs. Jones that he can be trusted.

Mrs. Jones is the important person that changes a Roger’s troubled life. Roger gains to meet turning point that makes him meet the new life in better way. We can perceive valuable humanness from the story. Although all everyone maybe used to make a mistake, the society is always willing to forgive and gives a chance to the person who realizes own mistake and turns to conduct in right way like Roger.

Group Insurance Benefit

Today morning, I went to meet the client at Ayutthaya province. The client was interested in buying the group insurance benefit to staff and we have discussed on the group insurance package and I explained details of the package for the client. There are different products of group insurance package namely Group Life Insurance is the main contract, Group Accidental Death Insurance, Group Total Permanent Disability Insurance and Group Health Insurance are the supplementary contract. This is the one of the employee benefits that were provided to staff and most employers in Thailand will offer and pay the premium for them. Staff will get a medical card from insurers and staff can use a medical card in the contracted hospital for treatment. It is easy and convenient for using, they just show a medical card along with I.D card and get the treatment from the hospital. Do you think the insurance is good? What do you think of the insurance?

When I drive my daughter to school

It was so nice to wake up with fresh feeling after knocked myself out by the pill last night, for the mid thirty mother like me sometime I need some assistant. After drive through traffic where my daughter supposes to be...yes Kindergarden school. It is a common life and way to drop your kids to school? when each kid is on one car so one car one kid, then I waited 20 minutes to find parking spot, to deliver my lovely angel to her class and wait a little bit to see she is okay not crying back home and drive me more headache than traffic jam on the road.

Let picture about one class have 25 kids and each one come to school by their parents car, think about when each kid behaves like 2 years old toddler, crying out loud, turn their hands to be a flypaper and stick to their parents arms and legs while mother or father rush to get to work on time. It looks messy and chaos, I totally do understand when some mom or dad wants to scream..."Be quiet and go to your class NOW!" to their kid ,still kid is a kid they are not an adult in small size body. That is why parents must understand how childish they are, I learn a lot to be patient, calm myself down when my girl being naughty keep reminding myself thirty years ago I may not difference so be cool.

Lucky me I have work in late morning so I no need to rush, all I do now is sit down, sipping coffee and wait for all cars remove. Finally, I took 2 hours to get out of school I still keep my cool and optimistic at lease, I can drive quiet to home and had a good coffee with student price.

Not bad...was it?

Angry Birds!!!

Last year, I had a chance to play games on my sister’s mobile phone. I was interested many games on her phone. Angry Birds was a game that I loved. It well known for people who using Apple’s product such as iPhone, iPod and iPad. Angry Birds is a puzzle video game which developed by Rovio Mobile. The game was first released for Apple's iOS Version in December 2009 and developed to work for Android systems, Pc and Facebook.

How to play Angry Birds

Players must control multi-colored birds to retrieve eggs that have been stolen by a group of green pigs. On each level, the pigs are sheltered by various materials such as stone, ice and wood. The objective of the game is the player must eliminate all the pigs in each level. Players may unlock levels as many times to successfully complete the level and earn the points and stars.

Nowadays, there are 4 versions of Angry Birds; Angry Birds (original), Angry Birds Seasons (released in October 2010), Angry Birds Rio (released in March 2011) and Angry Birds Magic (exclusively developed for Nokia in 2011).

If you have a chance to play it, you will love this game like me because it is so much fun.

Bad hair looking, How can I get perfect long hair???

           I would like to have perfect long hair but today I have to face many hair problems and it makes me cheese off it so much. Maybe I am a cause of my hair problems. I always scathe my hair by using chemicals product such as coloring and rebounding product. I don’t like dark hair color because it makes me look not cheerful, so I color my hair to get a fresh look and I have a little bit curly hair, so I rebound my hair to get straight hair style. At least, my hair was damaged by chemistry.

Many times I have decided to cut my hair but my friend told me “If you do that , we are not be friends anymore!!!! ” so, that why I give up to thinking about cutting my hair and continue to find another ways to get a better hair looking . I have heard many tips for good looking hair for example apply with an essential treatment, use a product from pure nature or making  salon hair spa treatment. Although I almost done all that tips but my hair still looking bad. Someone told me to cut hair tip every month but how can I do that!!!! I would like to have a long hair but my hair are grow slowly , so if I cut my hair tip it  seem like that I will far away to be long hair girl. T_______T

            Now, I so tried to find a way of getting better hair looking. I lost a lot of money about this but the result is not enough for me. How can I get it?? Are you having any ideas?? If you have a tip, tell me please.

My trip to Germany

This is the first story that I am telling you all. It is my first trip to Germany. oh I have just graduated from the university and decided to book a ticket with Fly Emirates to Germany. luckily my friend, she arranged it for me. thanks!

I left Bangkok to Dubai and spent the time at the airport about 8 hours for the next flight in the morning to Frankfurt. I was walking around the airport, smoking, drinking, talking and of course sleeping on the sofa at the airport as well.

I got up and went to the toilet, brushed my teeth, washed my face and i said myself that: i am so ready to explore the world. Suddenly the staff at Fly Emirates was announcing that, all the passengers, check in at counter E5 please. Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

On the plane, an old fat woman sat next to me but i didn't talk to her much, during i was listening to music, i enjoyed drinking white and red wine in the same time.

Anyway. there were many Germans on the plane and i just would like to talk to them in German cause I have learned it at Goethe institute before. Later i fell asleep. Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Frankfurt Flughafen (airport) here I come!!! it was such a nice feeling to be there. the weather was windy and cold but i really liked it. i could smell fresh and clean air.

I walked to the exit and my friend, Anne was waving her hands to me :") ahhh there she is. I hugged her and of course it was such a nice time even though i was a bit exhausted. Later on we took a train and a bus to her home. It took about 1 hour for traveling. After that i arrived to her home well and arranged my stuffs and slept immediately. I was too tired and had no energy left.

Alright, i will continue to write my story again soon. I need to relax a bit.

Travel show

I have watched the travel program in Thai PBS channel yesterday, they showed the train trip in Vietnam. The narrator or the host was a female, half European half Asian but she did well in the show. The host of the show will travel all around the world like a bag pack style and sometime the host will stay with the local people house instead of stay in the hotel that make more interesting for the viewer. And yesterday the show took us to Vietnam and travel from Hojimin city to Saigon by train. I felt a little bit astonished when the camera paned from inside the train cabin via the window and made us to see the scene outside while the train is moving.

In side the train, in my imagination before I thought it will be mess and cluster by the belonging of passengers or many vender's stuffs but it was not. It was tidy and looked more clean than train in Thailand. And the outside scenery was absolutely beautiful, the country side of Vietnam is awesome for the tourist. In the show, the host explained that 75% of Vietnamese people lives in the upcountry and mostly works in the farm or fishing business.

The host went to stay overnight at local people residence and having local food for dinner.

the house of the local is too small for 5 members family and the government just allowed them to own a house after wait for 10 years and by the reason is their parents's house was too small for more family members. That sound no reason for me or for people in free country that can buy anything when they can effort but there is Vietnam although they open their country for the world still the communism control the Vietnamese life. The host of the show had a beautiful time with a warm welcome form the house owner, they having good local food dinner and most made from fish and seafood.

So shame, I can't watch until the show finish because my little daughter was not well and required more attention so I leave before the end. Still, the show make me feel great to know some more information of our neighbor country.

Seminar in Vietnam

I and my collegue went to Mahasarakham Province and Vietnam on Aprit 6-10, 2011 for annual seminar. We have visited Graduate School of Mahasarakham University and the teacher training college named Quang Tri Pedagogical College in Vietnam. The college is founded last 54 years, 2 years older than KMUTNB. The college is going to be promoted to university in 2015. There 170 lecturers, 60% are graduste Master Degree the other are Bachelors with 4000 students. The vice president told us that teacher is such an honour career that the family of the teacher are supposed to be all good guys, besides teacher gets high salary. So study in teacher training collge is very popular in Vietnam.

Have you guys had ever drunk Vietnam coffee called G7? The guide of this trip who is Vietnamese told us that Vietnam Coffee is very famous and they claimed that it is the second popular coffee in the world next to Brazil. If you would like to taste, please tell me and I'll take you some, OK?

I thought I spoke Thai properly.

During 10^th-12^th May 2554, I participated in a training seminar held by my office (NBTC). The training was regarding how to pronounce Thai language correctly and clearly, and mainly focused on people who intended to become TV reporters or radio hosts.

To be honest, I never wanted to be a TV presenter or a Dj; as I don’t think I have the most fascinating voice in the world..hehe J But this was my boss’s idea to give us the opportunity to practice how to speak and pronounce proper Thai words, which are useful in everyday life.

My two friends and I have learned a lot from this training. This pronouncing skill practice made us to realize that most people usually made mistakes on a lot of words we used in everyday life, and it quite surprised me how we overlooked this little thing.

At the training I met some well-known singers and TV presenters, and even they struggled to speak all of the words correctly. So speaking Thai language properly is not that easy as I first thought.

Drive or not drive

If you have two choices which are drive or not drive to some where in the worst traffic jam of Bangkok, what will you choose? To drive may make you feel comfortable, private and reliable to change your destination. However, driving among the deeply terrible traffic like traffic of Bangkok will remind you about some of your bad dreams. The tried from driving is the main disadvantage which finally make the driver sick from stress. Moreover, with sky rocket of oil price will withdraw a lot of money from your pocket because your vehicle is the fuel hunger. Therefore, please carefully consider for another choice before start driving.

Pocket Translator Coming!

Recently I have just read a feature in Bloomberg Businessweek about hi-tech device called ‘Word Lens’ application. It is very interesting because this device can translate from one language to another by pointing iPhone’s camera at words or phrases you look up to. The advent of this app for iPhone stems from difficulties during vacation in Germany of the inventor named Otavic Good. He said that it would not be easy to understand traffic signs or restaurant menus when traveled overseas. Despite dictionaries and electronic translation tools on hand, he pointed out that it was too slow. He has thereby developed the app ‘Word Lens’ and applied a technology in common used for in document scanner whose function processes by means of matching words from source language to its database of translation and displaying output to target language. Furthermore, no internet or Wi-Fi access is required for this app. In last December, Good launched ‘Word Lens’ in Spanish version which fees $10 per language. Also, he hopes that more languages will be available for this app this year, coming up with French. I look forward to seeing this app in Thai version soon.

An american series of interesting choices

Today, I suggest you some series that I like. I sure you like this show too.

This show is “No Ordinary Family”. No Ordination Family is an American Series on American Broadcasting Company (ABC). The show centers on the typical American family, Powell. They live in Pacific Bay, California. Their life change after a plane crashes in the Amazon, Brazil. They survived and gain special power. Jim, the father, a police sketch artist who is super strong, gun invulnerable, can spring over tall buildings, and can lift about 11,000 pounds weight or more. He tries to use his power to help solve crimes. Stephanie, Jim’s wife, a scientist who is super speed. She can run 10 miles in just 5 seconds. She tries to use her power to create more time. Jim and Stephanie have two children, Daphne and JJ. Daphne is 16 years old. She knows a person’s mind. She can see memories when she touches people. Later she can change person’s mind and can remove person’s memories. JJ is 14 years old. He can read books very speed. He is a super smart.

I can’t tell you how is very funny. You must watch by your own.

A little faith

This is a story about a dog who was born on Christmas Eve in 2002. He was born with 3 legs – 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which needed to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him. He was rejected and scorned.

    His first owner also did not think that he could survive. Therefore, he was thinking of putting him to sleep. At this time, his present owner Jude Stringfellow came into his life and wanted to take care of him. She was determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. She though, all we need is a little faith. Therefore she named him ‘Faith’

    In the beginning, she put Faith on a surf board to let him feel the movement of the water. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and to reward him for standing up and jumping around. Even the other dogs at home helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, after only 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward.     When I read this story, I feel that I am the human who has complete body and smarter than him who just has 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg but I feel that I am doing is not as good as it should. The meaning of “Faith” is the belief or trust which is his name. Sometime, I think Faith is the model of mine when I have lazed and bored everything that around me, my feeling would be stronger after I saw his photo. Even though, he is a handicapped dog but his heart isn’t.
