Hyena
A hyena is a meat-eating mammal that lives in the north of the Sahara in Africa and India and southern Asia. The largest and most common hyena is the spotted hyena, also called the laughing hyena because its howl sounds like laughter. The hyena may weigh up to 79 kilograms. Many people think that the hyena is a scavenger which only eats flesh of dead animals but that’s not true. In fact, it is a bold hunter and can run down zebras and antelopes.
